Man hurt as car falls off Dingli Cliffs
A man has been hospitalised following an incident at Dingli Cliffs this morning, and was rescued by the Armed Forces.
Emergency services rushed to Dingli Cliffs as passers-by reported a man who was driving through the dirt road and suddenly steered down the cliff face.
As Civil Protection and AFM personnel were hoisted down to assist the man who was caught in the wreckage of his car, a helicopter was called to the scene to assist in the evacuation of the injured man.
The man has been taken to Mater Dei hospital, and his condition is so far unknown.
