Three-year-old hit by car

Police are investigating an incident where a there year-old toddler was injured after being hit by a car.

The incident was reported in Triq l-Ispnott in Xaghjra, limits of Zabbar, when the child allegedly ran out into the street and was hit by a Ford Escort car driven by a 42 year-old woman.

The child was rushed to hospital by ambulance. The young girl's condition is not known.
