Divorce bill committee meets up till 2am

MPs have met up till 2am last night within the committee that is discussing amendments in third reading.

Last night's session saw PN MPs and divorce bill promoter Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, Francis Zammit Dimech and Censu Galea, the Attorney General, PL MPs Evarist Bartolo, Marie Louise Coleiro and Owen Bonnici, and former Iva movement chairperson Debbie Schembri discuss and carry the amendments to the bill.

Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg is away from the island on official government business.

Meanwhile the committee agreed to also meet on Sunday morning,
