German driver injured in crash

A 51 year-old German driver has been hospitalised following a car crash.

The driver reportedly lost control of a Citroen AX while driving to St. Paul's Bay, left the road, overturned and smashed onto the underlaying rocks.

The German was assisted on site by passers-by and paramedics from Mater Dei Hospital.

Police are investigating.
