Boy 14, dies in fall from balcony

Police are investigating the tragic death of a 14 year-old German student who fell from a balcony in Paceville last night.

Police sources confirmed that the boy fell off a balcony from a height of eight stories in Dragonara Road, Paceville.

The boy - a German student who was in Malta with a group to study English - died on the spot and was certified dead by paramedics who rushed to the scene from Mater Dei Hospital.

A Magisterial inquiry is underway.
