Swieqi woman in danger of dying after road accident

A foreign resident of Swieqi was run over by a car driven by a 19-year-old at 1:15pm on Burmarrad Road, Burmarrad.

An ambulance was called to the scene. Doctors said the woman was in danger of dying.

Duty magistrate Dr Neville Camilleri is leading the inquiry.

The St Paul’s Bay-Burmarrad road near the cemetery is closed and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
