Inmate escapes, dies after jump from Mosta Bridge
A prison inmate has died after escaping from a Court ordered rehabilitation programme this morning.
21 year-old inmate Keith Camilleri, who is serving time for drug and theft related offences, absconded from the Sant' Anna Drug Rehabilitation Centre using the facility's car.
He was chased and lost after a two hour search, but later to be found dead at Mosta Valley after he allegedly jumped off Mosta Bridge.
There has been no official statement yet from government, police or prison authorities yet on this incident that comes in the wake of a series of incidents involving prisoners' escapes from custody.

Its amazing, we don't have victim support, crime support groups, criminal rehabilitation, drug rehabilitation (they allege we have). You know sometimes first time offenders are bombarded by ruffian bullies (not always the Policeman's fault, they become incentivized or with no feeling). Will this open a few people's eyes, or will it just be another newspaper report.

When police are involved - citizens start to behave like lemmings and jumping off high places!!! Whose word we have that he jumped ? And what the heck for?
