Man injured in Zebbug fire

A 53-year-old man from Zebbug was taken to hospital after he suffered injuries whilst burning remnants in a rural area, limits of Wicc ir-Rahal in Zebbug, the Police said.

According to the police’s communication office, at around 11am today the Zebbug police station was informed that a man had been taken to Mater Dei hospital due to the injuries suffered.

The injured was taken to the hospital by a 42-year-old man, also from Zebbug, who was with him at the time of the incident.

Police investigation is ongoing.
