Motorists warned of detours as St. Georges Bay as works underway

Roadworks being undertaken to embellish the roads leading to St. George’s Bay will see the temporary closure of the areas effected, and motorists urged to follow detours.

In a statement issued by the Malta Tourism Authority and other agencies, including Transport Malta, it was explained that due to road works being undertaken to embellish the area, all traffic, except for heavy vehicles coming from Triq Ix-Xatt ta` San Gorg shall be diverted to the left towards Triq Professur Walter Ganado left turn located before the Corinthia Marina.

Heavy vehicles will not be permitted to proceed towards the Corinthia Marina through Triq ix-Xatt ta` San Gorg but have to enter from near the traffic lights in Triq Sant’Andrija into Pembroke.

Access to the ITS, Radisson Blu Resort Hotel, Corinthia San Gorg and Corinthia Marina shall not be effected.
