Maltese contractors take Smartcity to court

Maltese contractors Ballut Blocks Services and Bonnici Bros Limited stopped their work at Smart City after company failed to pay them.

Sunday newspaper Illum reports how two Maltese contractors, - working together as a consortium – have registered a collateral special privilege of €2.5 million against Smartcity Malta.

According to Illum, Ballut Blocks Services and Bonnici Bros Limited are not being paid for the work done.

It added that Smartcity was the Nationalist Party’s warhorse during the last general elections when government had promised 5,600 new jobs.

There goes another promise of 5,600 new jobs.. Here in Gozo we were promised similar lies about other places that all ended with much ,much less people employed or worse pulled down and turned to FLATS. When will the Maltese learn not to believe promises that are made before the elections?????
