90 candidates get English ‘O’ level result upgraded
The MATSEC board has announced it has upgraded 90 results from a total of 924 after re-checking the September session results as part of a quality assurance procedure at MATSEC.
The board said an error was noted in some of the SEC English Language marks. “Consequently, a correction was needed in the grades awarded to 90 candidates out of a total of 924: 24 results were upgraded to Grade 5, 33 to Grade 6 and another 33 to Grade 7.”
No result was downgraded. The candidates concerned have been informed by SMS and an amended result slip is being sent by post.
“The MATSEC Board regrets any inconvenience caused,” the University of Malta said.
