HalfEUCitizen no apology. If they don't like it they should leave and go back to their own country. Malta should be left for Maltese citizens only.

No need for research Quo Vadis....it was an intented exaggeration. The gist of my question was to enquire on the motive of such rage!! Thanks just the same.

@ I M Shreck Can you make some research to understand better what the phrase 'terrorist attack' means please?

3 clarifications needed for this story: 1 How was the swede allowed to drive through Merchants Street? To my knowledge this is a pedestrian zone and traffic is not allowed through it. 2 How was the swede allowed to drive off after the rampage? Was he chased by the law and order officials are left to his own devices? 3 Why did a Swedish National feel the need to do such a terrorist attack in Malta? I might be wrong, but till now the above obvious questions that everyone is surely is asking have not been anwsered.

I heard they were late with reimbursing him his taxes. You can't blame him, he paid 35% and was expecting 30% back which amounted to several million euros. I think the government should issue an apology to this swede before many others follow his example.
