GWU proposes new roster for Arriva drivers

Public transport service provider Arriva has agreed to carry out an exercise to see how the new drivers' roster can be implemented.

The new roster was proposed by the GWU and seeks to reduce the heavy hours that drivers are facing. The roster was presented to Arriva yesterday, as both sides agreed to meet again today.

The union added that the exercise would be carried out next Tuesday, as the GWU remains adamant that the roster needs to change.

Also next Tuesday, GWU will meet with Arriva to discuss the workers' collective agreement.
