24 year old Msida arrested for theft

Police urgently presented a 24 year old man under arrest before station Magistrate C Scerri Herrera.

Alexander Angileri, an Msida resident, was arrested in the early hours this morning for stealing a mobile phone and handbag.

Angileri was also found to have violated a restraining order previously imposed on him by the Criminal Court as well as for relapsing.  

The accused responded not guilty to the allegations brought against him.

A request for custody release was not granted and the 24 year old was kept imprisoned at the Corradino Correctional Facility.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Godwin Scerri and Inspector Rosanna Debattista.
