Theives make off with thousands of euros in Valletta robbery

The burglars appear to have broken into Clavis jewellers from the adjoining shop Elite in Republic Street, Valletta.

According to police sources, the theives removed stone slabs and gained access into the jewellery shop.

Police were seen at the entrance of the jewellery shop this morning,  but no statement has been issued by the police so far.

A Magisterial inquiry is reportedly underway.
