Stranded Gozitans at bus stop resort to minibus

Commuters waiting for the Cirkewwa bus at the Msida bus stop - Qroqq 3 - had to phone for private transportation after waiting for more than two hours in the rain at the stage.

According to commuters on site the Cirkewwa bus, supposedly to pass every hour, never turned up.

In comments to MaltaToday, one commuter said the group waiting in the cold amounts to between 50 and 60 Gozitans. The group included workers and students among others.

The commuters were left no choice but to phone for private transportation that arrived shortly afterwards. All commuters are now on their way to Cirkewwa to catch the ferry home.
