Susan Ratcliff, 53 from Leigh will welcome 12 year-old Leon Azzopardi and his family to her home for the New Year, and will celebrate the boy's re-birth after he recovered from blood cancer after receiving blood stem cells which were donated to him by British woman.

Azzopardi was diagnosed with cancer when he was three years old, and a blood stem transplant was said to have been his last hope to live.

Back in 2008, Susan Ratcliff was contacted by a charity who informed her that she may be a 'perfect match' to the boy, leading her to donate the stem cells, while keeping herself anonymous with the family for some two years.

A keen Manchester United fan, Leon Azzopardi's visit to the UK this New Year will even see him receive a gift from legendary coach Sir Alex Fergusson who has sent complimentary tickets for the boy and his family to attend his team's home game against Blackburn on December 31.

It is people's desire to help others and a good medical team that helped Leon. No mythical Gods had ANYTHING to do with it- unless to suppose that it was the all loving, malevolent bully god, that inflicted Leon in the first place!

May the Almighty God Bless Ms Ratcliff for a Billion times and may all other humans follow this good example.
