What is the fuss dear Dr Gonzi? the AFM, police, ballistics, forensics experts, and a Magestirial inquiry - what a waste of public funds - yet again. Even I often hear gunshot and find pellets close to my farmhouse. As I am used to it ,contrary perhaps to the PM, I do not give it much thought let alone does it alarm me. Similar acccident happened at Verdala Palace, when ex President Guido DeMarco and his wife were present. In that case a window glass was broken and a hunter was charged for that accident. It was nothing political, and the hunter was jailed for 3 months. The country should make use of such resources in a more professional way. Otherwise this may be considered as another PN tactic to shift the people's attentions from the issues currently at hand such as the Franco Debono problem and the cost of living and less activity during this period. I don't go hunting for wild rabbits, therefore I don't know whether this is a winter or summer sport. But from what I read this is a sport practised in the summer months and that it is illegal to hunt rabbits in winte. If this is the case, then there is hardly any association between these shots and rabbit hunters. Furthermore why would a rabbit hunter shoot in the direction of the Girgenti Palace when he jolly well knows that this is illegal anyway, and secondly the building happens to be the official residence of the PM which would obviously be under guard, and thereby exposing himsself?

If the only available clues were the hearing of shots close to the residence, isn't the article's title a bit too melodramatic Karl? While implying that the shots were aimed at Dr Gonzi and his wife, you're also stating that the shots were fired close to the palace and not at the palace. Can you either elaborate further or else change the title to be more realistic?
