Man arrested after beating his wife outside court

Stephen Spiteri, of Valletta, was taken into custody at around 12:45pm today after he punched his wife as she exited the Law Courts in Republic Street, Valletta.
His wife had just attended a court sitting in which she asked for the custody of her child, in a case filed against her estranged husband.
The woman has been hospitalised.
