Burglar targets same house one week after being released from jail on aggravated theft charges.
An obstinate burglar targeted the same residence three times before being caught red-handed by police and sentenced yet again to jail.
Bjorn Borg, 29 of Mosta, was handed down a 27-month prison sentence after burgling the same house for the third time.
He had just served three months in jail on aggravated theft, when a week after his release he burgled the same house for the third time.
Borg, accused of aggravated theft, was caught red-handed and sentenced to 27 months' imprisonment and ordered to undergo a drug rehabilitation programme.
Lawyer Chris Cilia, appearing in parte civile for the Muscat family, said the victims had been stripped off everything, including their dignity to live in peace in their own household. "They have nothing to aspire to now that everything they possessed was stolen by the accused."
