San Gwann woman, 19, injured in traffic accident

A 19-year-old woman from San Gwann was injured in a traffic accident at 5.30 am.

The incident happened in Triq in-Nutar Zarb, Attard. Police said that the woman was driving an Opel Corsa towards Mriehel when she lost control and crashed into an electricity pole. She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital but was sent home after treatment.

The car was found to be extensively damaged. Enemalta employees were called on the spot to remove the dangers.
