Drug trafficking is definitely a serious offence and the sentences given point out the seriousness of the crime. However culprits commiting other crimes like stealing, agression and even bad driving are being handed much more lenient sentences. I think that the legal system is not functioning properly! It seems that there is a witch hunt for drugs and other bad crimes seem to get off with much less considering their serious nature!
