Police have stepped up their hunt for two men - possibly Eastern European - who are now regarded as suspects for murder, following the death of Sudanese migrant Osama Al Shziliaoy in hospital early this morning.

Shziliaoy was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital's Intensive Therapy Unit early on Sunday morning, after he was found unconscious on a pavement in St. George's Ropad in Paceville after reportedly hitting his head hard on the ground when he was violently pushed and beaten by two men.

The Sudanese man, who has been described by many as a quiet character, died early this morning.

A Police statement issued on Sunday night, called on the general public to assist them in identifying and arrest the two men and published still photographs taken from CCTV camera footage in Paceville.

Anybody who may have information regarding the identity and location of the two men, is being invited to call 119 or             21 22 4001      . All callers may remain anonymous.
