Qawra 'drugs hotel' closed down
International Club hotel in Qawra had turned into 'drug den'
A hotel in Qawra has had its entrances walled up, in the wake of complaints by neighbouring shop owners that the place had turned into a drug den.
The hotel was just a few steps away from the Bugibba piazza, one of the seaside village's most popular spots for tourists and small business.
L-orizzont said a report it had on the place sparked off the action to wall the entrance to the hotel and have it closed off.
