Jeremy Ciantar, 41, from Sliema, awaiting trial on drug trafficking was granted bail after being arrested and extraditedback to Malta from the Netherlands.

How about a criminal's (serving a sentence) cleaning company is given a contract to clean the courts' offices. That is a scandal. How about a paedophile priest getting off the hook because of mistakes by the AG. This a scandal. Cases dropped because of missing evidence is not new.
