Arriva driver charged with fraud, misappropriation

Ronald Gerada, 34 from Xaghjra was charged under arrest to have defrauded and misappropriated €2,300 to the detriment of Arriva, the bus company he works for.

Gerada allegedly tampered with the ticketing system and pocketed the proceeds.

He was also charged with having tampered with computer software in order to deviate transactions onto an innocent third-party.

Gerada, was also chared of being a relapser.

He was granted bail.
