Five Valletta FC supporters have been handed a four month ban on attending sports events, following last June’s incidents at Ta’ Qali stadium during the Valletta-Hibernians clash.

Five Valletta FC supporters have been handed a four month ban on attending sports events, following last June's incidents at Ta' Qali stadium during the Valletta-Hibernians clash.

Magistrate Consuelo Herrera fined four of the fans €90 each, while a fifth - a 15 year-old girl - was handed a two-year conditional discharge.

All five admitted to disorderly behaviour, as they invaded the football pitch.
