Driver fined for injuring pedestrian
A 27 year-old driver was fined €1,500 and had his driving license suspended for eight days, after he admitted to injuring a pedestrian.
Silvio Abela, 27 from Mosta admitted to having caused grievious injury to English national Elisabeth Dawn Adams when hitting her with his car in Main Street Mosta last July.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke, who presided the case, took note of Abela's admission and imposed the fine.
