€866 for 10 TM shirts and five trousers

According to Transport Minister Austin Gatt, government spent €865.93 to buy 10 shirts and five trousers for Transport Malta officials who attended the 4^th Annual Super Yacht Forum Conference in 2011.

Replying to a parliamentary question raised by Labour MP Joe Sammut, Gatt said that each of the five officials were given two shirts and a pair of trousers. The shirts carried the logo of Transport Malta tougher with the Maltese maritime flag.

The officials, Gatt said, were responsible of the TM stand at the Morocco Yacht Show.

"In total, the clothes cost €865.93 and were done to give a strong exposure and a clearer branding to the Maltese flag," the minister said.

"This is something which is done practically by any exhibitor in such fairs."

He went on to assure Sammut that the same clothes were used in this year's edition of the show.
