In five years: two children abandoned by their parents
Justice Minister Chris Said reveals that two children have been abandoned by their parents over the past five years.

Agenzija Appogg classifies 'abandoned' children as those who are in the care of their parents, but their parents would be untraceable.
Over the past five years, two children were abandoned by their parents in Malta. The information was revealed by Justice Minister Chris Said in reply to a question raised by Labour MP Carmelo Abela.
According to Agenzija Appogg, an 'abandoned' child refers to those cases where the parents would be untraceable. The child would have been listed as being in the care of the parents.
Minister Said revealed that the two children were abandoned in Cospicua and Rabat. The Police was involved in both cases.
"The two minors are today protected by a protection order," he added.

I would like to reply to Tonio about the comment that Debono is not a team player.
Dear Tonio - you are wrong to make that statement. Debono is a great team player; but he is not on YOUR team. You are on team Gonzi, but Debono is on team MALTA. It's the team that incorporates us Maltese citizens as opposed to the crooks and criminals that make a living from being loyal to Gonzi.
