In a head-to-head interview published in Sunday's issue of Illum, Nationalist Party Deputy Leader hopefuls Simon Busuttil and Tonio Fenech answer questions about their plans, visions, and priorities for the future of Malta and their party.

In the interview, both contenders face questions regarding what they can bring to the Nationalist Party to ensure that it is in the best position to face an electoral race in which it is already at a marked disadvantage against a Labour Party that enjoys a 12-point lead.

During the interview, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech also answers questions about Nicholas Borg Hedley's case, as well as the effect of the media spotlight related to budget presentation would have on the deputy leader election, which is scheduled just two days later.

Busuttil, on the other hand, is questioned about reconciliation with Rogue Nationalist MP Franco Debono, and also discusses his role in changing the party from within.
