Maltese among citizens who may stay in Beijing for 72 hours without Visa

The Chinese government has announced that Maltese citizens are among a list of 45 countries, whose nationals will be allowed 72 hours in the capital Beijing without the need for a Visa.

Maltese are among the citizens of 45 countries who will be able to stay in the Chinese capital, Beijing for 72 hours without a need for visas.

Transit passengers of the 45 countries with visas from a third country would be able to benefit from the new visa-free procedure at the Beijing International Airport, the Beijing local administration a statement said today.

Beijing has left Turkey out of the list of countries whose citizens do not need a visa up to 72 hours.
Countries to benefit from the new procedure in Beijing are as follows:
Malta, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Greek Cypriot administration, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar.
