Nine year-old in critical condition
A 10 year-old girl has been hospitalized and said to be in a critical condition as a result of the serious injuries she sustained when she was involved in a car crash, while riding as a passenger in her fathers car.
The accident happened late last night on the Hal Far Road in the vicinity of the airport, when another car apparently exited on to the main road from a side street.
The girl sustained serious injury that required medical attention on site, and was later transferred by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was immediately admitted into Intensive Care.

The girl’s father escaped unhurt, while the other driver, a 23-year-old man from Zurrieq suffered slight injuries.
