Pensioner, 82, run over in Mosta

An 82-year-old man was run over today at 6:30am, in what was the fourth traffic accident over 24 hours.

The incident occurred on Mosta's Constitutiona Street, after a Seat Ibiza being driven by a 39-year-old St Paul's Bay man ran over the Mosta pensioner.

Police said the man is suffering from grave injuries but was not in danger of dying.
