Former Labour man and Labour candidate Manwel Micallef has been appointed as head of ONE news.
Former Labour man and Labour candidate for the 2013 general elections Manwel Micallef has been appointed head of ONE news.
Micallef is replacing former head of news Mark Farrugia who is now employed within the Office of the Prime Minister. Micallef will also be replacing Evarist Bartolo, who is now the Education Minister, as news editor of maltastar.com.
Micallef is also a former secretary general of the General Workers Union.
