Hunters to compile survey on police presence
Hunters’ federation ‘to document’ police presence around the Maltese countryside by asking hunters to fill in survey marking the number of times they encounter police patrol.
Maltese hunters will be taking part in a survey to help hunting federation FKNK keep a record of police presence around the Maltese countryside.
The survey can be downloaded from the internet and hunters are urged to fill in the form explaining the when, where and how many police were encountered while hunting.
"The police are doing a fine job to ensure that the spring hunting derogation condition 'strictly supervised' is being met. This situation further verifies that the police requires no assistance from uninvited foreigners, well known for their anti-hunting feelings and abolitionists' dreams," the FKNK said in a statement.
The federation added that it will start documenting police presence.
"We have instructed our members to compile a form to record the strict police supervision during the spring 2013 open hunting season," FKNK said.
