No Maltese citizens injured in Boston terrorist attack

Foreign Minister George Vella said the Maltese government condemned any form of terrorist attack, and expressed sympathy for all victims and others affected by the attack that struck Boston during its annual marathon.

"Such events gives all the more reason for all countries to fight terrorism and cooperate together to prevent these attacks, difficult though may be to eradicate. Terrorism has its own resources and fighting it is not easy, but then our determination to fight it must be all that stronger," Vella said in Mauritania, where he is attending the 5+5 meeting of northern and southern Mediterranean states.
