Michelle Muscat reads stories to pupils in Lija school

Education minister Evarist Bartolo and Michelle Muscat visit school children on occasion of World Book Day.

Michelle Muscat read stories to Lija primary school pupils to celebrate and promote reading this morning.

Muscat and education minister visited the State school in Lija to mark World Book Day.

After chatting and exchanging ideas with the school children, the Prime Minister's wife found some time to read a fairy tale to fourth graders and underlined the importance of fostering a reading culture among children.

Bartolo and Muscat donated a number of books to the school.
