George Vella meets Maltese community in Luxembourg

During a visit to Luxembourg to attend the EU General Affairs and Foreign Affairs Council meetings, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Vella, met with the Maltese Community in Luxembourg.

The meeting which took place on 21 April, was organised by the Embassy of Malta in Brussels with the cooperation of the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU.

A number of Maltese nationals who attended the reception at the European Court of Auditors included Louis Galea from the European Court of Auditors, and Judge Anthony Borg Barthet and Judge Eugene Buttigieg from the European Court of Justice.

Vella encouraged the Maltese working in Luxembourg to continue building on their experience in the hope that this will be used in Malta.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Malta to Belgium Vanessa Frazier and the Permanent Representative of Malta to the EU Marlene Bonnici.
