New board for Water Services Corporation

Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi has appointed former Telemalta chairman Tony Meilaq as the new chairman of the WSC.

Confirming the appointment, sources at OPM said the government will soon issues an official statement.

Members of the WSC board include former PL deputy president Louis Gatt, former PL secretary general Jimmy Magro, Labour candidate Nikita Zammit Alamango and entrepreneur Kevin Decesare.

Saviour Zammit has been appointed deputy chairman.

Also board members are John Abela, Robert Borg and Silvio Falzon.
