Two Qormi brothers escape death after falling 14 feet during constriction works
Two brothers, a 51-year-old man from Qormi and 53-year-old man from Paola respectively, escaped death after they fell fourteen feet off a plank that they were during construction works at St Luigi Preziosi Road, St. Paul’s Bay in the early hours of this afternoon. They have suffered grievous injuries by are not in danger of dying.

When the police immediately went on site soon after being informed about the case at around 2.15pm, initial investigations showed that the brothers had fallen about 14 feet after slipping off the plank for some undisclosed reason.
Two ambulances were called on site to take the two men to Mater Dei Hospital. They were certified as suffering from serious injuries, but were not on the danger list.
The police investigations on this case are continuing, the police said.
