Briton arrested on EU warrant for threatening, insulting former wife

Maltese police have arrested a British national on the request of a Bristol Magistrates Court that issued a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) against him, and asked for his extradition.

The police have asked the Magistrates Court to uphold the extradition request, which case will be heard in the coming days.

He was granted bail until the hearing continues in a week’s time.
