18 migrants land in Cirkewwa, four persons held

A boat with 18 migrants lands in Cirkewwa at 4am, police hold four persons for further investigations.

Early this morning a group of 18 migrants landed in Cirkewwa, the police said.

The migrants, including three women and eight underage persons were then taken to the Police HQ in Floriana for further investigations.

The police also said that it is holding four persons, two Maltese nationals and two foreigners to assist it in its investigations.
