Lou Bondi appointment stirs indignation
TV presenter’s appointment on national festivities foundation angers Labour supporters.
After the news of Lou Bondi appointment on the national festivities foundation broke out, Labourities and a large number of persons expressed indignation towards the appointment.
Bondi, cousin to former PN minister Austin Gatt, is renowned for his dislike of the Labour Party in his long career on TV and on Radio 101.

I guess Bondi loses his credibility by accepting this post, nice move Joesph.... but I still don't like it.

@mincens: try equating Lou Bondi with AG or Aust and you will find the answer. I cannot find any logic in Joseph Muscat appointing him though. The Nationalists complain that the Boards are being filled by PL supporters and the PL complain that the Boards are being filled by PN supporters (try Dr Frank Portelli, JPO, Franco Debono, MP Dr Frans Agius, Perit Michael Falzon etc - the list is undending) as they have always been for the last 25 years. I think the PL members have a right for a share in the National cake after waiting for so long for justice.

As long as Lou Bondi won't be appointed Chairman of PBS we have nothing to worry about!
As regards Where's Everybody itself I feel nothing wrong should quiz programmes be continued and even Xarabank provided that it is less political!

Better to have a known asshole where he is and what he is doing rather than leaving him to roam at random. What follows now - Daphne Caruaua Galizia as head of DOI - Richard Cachia Caruana as Minister Without Portfolio - Peppi Azzopardi for President - The Times of Malta as the official spokes-outlet for the PL - Austin Gatt for masterminding PL propaganda - Ernest Tonna as Head of Security? Bring them all on!!!!!! ALBERT FENECXH - Qawra.

Has anyone asked how Lou Bondi came to prominence? He definitely was helped by the powers that be. In fact the goodies began arriving as soon as EFA was in office. If the PN believes that wearing a bag over your head and leading a faux demonstration in Ottawa against the then MLP government is a sign of meritocracy then he is the man for the job. On the other hand, many people see Bondi for what he is.
To be fair to all Nationalists, not many diehard ones would have accepted a position from a party they hated so much and tried so hard to defeat. Some might call it opportunism at its worst. Is Lou's sudden epiphany portending that the PN is going to be in the political wilderness for a long, long time? Note to all Nationalists, perhaps it's time to jump ship and follow lou's example.
