Police officers question George Farrugia’s presidential pardon

High-ranking police officers shed doubt on effectiveness of presidential pardon granted to George Farrugia over oil scandal.

Officials in the Police Force questioning whether the presidential pardon granted before the election to George Farrugia should be removed.

High-ranking officials are doubtful of the pardon's effectiveness as it is clear that Farrugia did not contribute anything new in the investigation of the Enemalta oil scandal.  

Sunday newspaper Illum is informed that Farrugia did little to change the investigation's course.
