PN accuses government of 'deceit' on animal hospital
Government accused of deciet over its handling of the Ta Qali animal hospital.
The government is trying to stifle the work being carried out at the San Frangisk animal hospital, the Opposition said.
"While claiming to be a 'Business Friendly Government' and commissioning a study to find out what the public's complaints were, the government goes and files a judicial protest in court against the hospital's operator," the PN said.
This confirms the government's "deceit" because while hiding behind calls for cheaper services at the hospital, it now has a confirmation in writing that the centre's prices are similar to the private sector, the PN said.
The Opposition also claimed that the government had "an ulterior motive and it would be good for the government to say with whom it has met and negotiated for the running of the centre."
