Updated | Environment ministry’s permanent secretary resigns

The permanent secretary within the environment minister led by Leo Brincat has reportedly resigned.

Attempts to contact the environment ministry have so far been futile, however, according to government sources Montebello tendered his resignation for personal reasons.

Montebello was one of the 11 new permanent secretaries appointed by the new Labour government upon its election.
