Over three years, reduction in Gozo ferry tickets during March-May weekends registered
From 44,932 tickets in March 2011 to 35,539 tickets in March 2013: weekend figures of March, April and May for the last three years show a reduction in Gozo Channel tickets sold.

On the first weekend of March 2011 a total of 20,729 ferry tickets were sold. This figure however went down to 6,448 on the same two days the following year and down to 6,267 this year.
According to the information tabled in parliament, the figures include the total number of vehicles and the total number of passengers.
On the 13 weekends between March and May 2011, a total of 124,608 tickets were sold.
During the same period the following year, the figure went down to 105,568. So far this year, between March and the second weekend of May a total of 96,616 tickets were sold.
