Fourteen consultancy services awarded by Medicine Authority through direct orders

Since 2004, the ministry for family and social solidarity paid over €1 million consultancy services.

Social dialogue Minister Helena Dalli explained how five entities issued 53 consultancy contracts totaling €1,001,301.24.

Fourteen consultancy services awarded by the Medicines Authority were direct orders, five calls for quotations and only one tender. The information tabled in palirmanet shows that MEUSEC issued 14 direct orders.

Consumer Affairs Authority, MCCAA, handed four direct orders and three tenders through a public call. The MCESD and the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisation awarded a single direct order each for consultancy services.

Over the same period of time, the Ministry for Family and Social Solidarity awarded 109 consultancy contracts. These were handed through 71 expressions of interest, 15 tenders, 12 call for applications, nine direct orders and two call for quotations.
