A group of slightly more than 100 immigrants were intercepted this morning by the AFM.

The 102 immigrants were spotted 1.5 nautical miles away from Delimara point shortly after 3am. They were escorted in their 14-metre boat to Hay Wharf Floriana, at 6.15am.

The group consisted of 59 men, 41 women and two infants.

Assistance was provided on site by the medical teams and the immigration police.

This was the second arrival in a couple of days, after almost 300 immigrants were brought to Malta last Thursday.

Ms. Metsola, we the maltese people are earnestly urging you and the party you represent, to support the government at least on this issue of illegal people in our country. The deeper the problem gets the more it contributes to the unwanted phenomenon of racism. Where are the sociologists?
